Draft a LinkedIn post in two languages with Mistral Le Chat, keep the voice natural in both, and publish through Finchreach after you approve it.

## The short answer

If your network spans two languages, say French and English, Mistral’s Le Chat can write a LinkedIn post that reads naturally in both instead of sounding translated. Connected to Finchreach, it can then queue the finished post on your LinkedIn. Nothing is published until you approve it in the Finchreach dashboard.

Le Chat supports custom MCP connectors with a bearer token, which is exactly what Finchreach uses. MCP is a standard plug that lets AI apps use outside tools; Finchreach is a remote MCP server at `https://mcp.finchreach.com/mcp` that operates your own LinkedIn account.

## Should you post on LinkedIn in two languages?

If you work across markets, a single-language post leaves part of your network out. There are three common patterns: one post with both languages, separate posts per language on different days, or one main language with a short summary in the other. Which one works depends on your audience, and an assistant can help you test them without doubling your writing time.

Literal translation is the usual failure. Idioms, formality and even post length differ between languages; a French post often needs a different opening than the English one. Mistral is a French company and Le Chat is a natural pick for French-English work, but what matters most is asking for adaptation rather than translation.

## What do you ask Le Chat?

Start from your idea, written in whichever language is easiest for you:

> Ask your assistant: “Read my LinkedIn profile first. Then write a LinkedIn post announcing that our team is hiring two backend engineers in Lyon. Write a French version and an English version. Adapt, don’t translate: the French one should use vous, sound like a Lyon startup, and the English one should be plain and direct. Each under 120 words.”

Then decide on the format and queue it:

> Ask your assistant: “Combine both into one post: French first, then a line with three dashes, then English. Keep the total under 1,300 characters. Show me the final text, then publish it to my LinkedIn.”

Le Chat calls `linkedin_create_post`, and the post lands in your approval queue at [/approvals](https://finchreach.com/approvals). If you prefer two separate posts, ask for both and approve them on different days; Finchreach doesn’t schedule, so the timing is when you approve.

> Ask your assistant: “Search LinkedIn posts about backend hiring in Lyon and tell me whether people tend to post in French, English or both.”

## How do you connect Mistral Le Chat to LinkedIn?

1. Create an account at [finchreach.com/sign-up](https://finchreach.com/sign-up), connect your LinkedIn account under Accounts, and create an API key under API keys.
2. In Le Chat, open Connectors → + Add Connector → Custom MCP Connector.
3. Enter a name without spaces (for example `finchreach`), the URL `https://mcp.finchreach.com/mcp`, and a short description, then click Connect.
4. When Le Chat asks for authentication, choose HTTP Bearer Token and paste your Finchreach API key.
5. Enable the connector in a chat and ask it to list your LinkedIn accounts. The [Mistral guide](https://finchreach.com/guides/mistral) and the [docs](https://finchreach.com/docs) cover the details.

> As of October 2026, Mistral’s docs say custom connectors are admin-only. On Free, Pro and Student plans the account owner is the admin, so you can add it yourself; on team plans ask your admin. Le Chat requires Streamable HTTP over valid TLS, which Finchreach provides.

## How do you keep both languages sounding like you?

- Give Le Chat one past post in each language as a style reference.
- Name the register you want: tu or vous, formal or casual, local or international.
- Ask a native speaker on your team to review the first few drafts, then add their corrections to your standing instructions.
- Keep technical terms consistent. Decide whether you say “backend” or “back-end” in French and stick to it.
- Watch the length. Two full versions in one post can get long; a short summary in the second language is often enough.

## How do you know which language format works?

Finchreach doesn’t provide post analytics, so use what LinkedIn shows you on each post and keep it simple: try the combined format for a few weeks, then separate posts for a few weeks, and compare the comments you get and who writes them. Le Chat can help you read the reactions: ask it to read your notifications and summarize which language your commenters used.

> Ask your assistant: “Read my latest notifications and tell me which languages people used when commenting on my last two posts.”

## What doesn’t Finchreach do for LinkedIn posts?

Finchreach publishes text posts as you. It doesn’t add images or video, schedule posts, post as a company page, or show analytics. For a hiring post with a company logo, publish the text through Le Chat and add media on LinkedIn, or post from the company page yourself.

It also doesn’t let Le Chat bypass approval. Every post, comment, message, reaction and invitation waits for you.

## Is it risky to publish AI-written posts on LinkedIn?

> Automating a personal LinkedIn account carries risk under LinkedIn’s User Agreement. Approving every post and keeping a human pace lowers it, but doesn’t remove it.

Posting in a second language adds a reputational risk: an awkward phrase is more visible to native speakers than you might think. Read both versions before you approve, or have someone who speaks the language read them.

## Frequently asked questions

Can Le Chat reply to comments in the right language? It can read notifications and add comments on a post, matching the commenter’s language if you ask. Each comment is approved first.

Can I use Mistral models outside Le Chat? Yes, inside any MCP client that lets you pick a Mistral model and sends an API key header, such as Cline or OpenCode. See the [Mistral integration](https://finchreach.com/integrations/mistral) page.

Can I use other languages? Yes. Nothing in Finchreach is language-specific; the quality depends on the model.
