Turn your LinkedIn posts into a writing page with v0

Let v0 pull your real LinkedIn posts through Finchreach and design a writing page for your personal site, without copy-pasting a single post.

The short answer

If you write on LinkedIn, v0 can turn those posts into a writing page for your personal site. Add Finchreach to v0 as a custom MCP server with a bearer token. Then ask v0 to read your name and headline, find your posts on LinkedIn, and design a page that shows them as cards or a reading list. Those lookups are read-only, so nothing changes on LinkedIn. If you also want v0 to draft a post announcing the page, that draft waits in your Finchreach approval queue until you approve it.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard plug that lets AI apps use outside tools. Finchreach is a remote MCP server for LinkedIn at https://mcp.finchreach.com/mcp. v0 supports custom MCP servers with bearer tokens or custom headers, both in the app and through its Platform API.

v0 uses MCP tools while it generates, not inside the site it produces. It reads your posts once and writes them into the page. The published page won’t update itself when you post again; you regenerate the section or edit it by hand.

Why put your LinkedIn posts on your own site?

Posts on LinkedIn scroll away within days. Some of them are the best short writing you have done: a clear explanation of how you work, a lesson from a project, a strong opinion about your field. On your own site they become a permanent, linkable record that clients and employers can read without a LinkedIn account.

Doing that by hand means opening each post, copying the text, fixing the line breaks and pasting it into a component. With Finchreach connected, v0 starts from your actual posts and you spend your time on layout and selection instead.

The Finchreach tools v0 uses:

  • linkedin_get_profile for your own name, headline, profile link and follower count, for the page header.
  • linkedin_search with the content vertical to find posts by keyword, such as your name or the topics you write about.
  • linkedin_create_post to draft an announcement for the new page, which goes to your approval queue.

Search finds posts the way LinkedIn search does, so it can miss some and include posts by other people on the same topic. Ask v0 to keep only posts where you are the author and to show you the list before it builds anything.

What should I tell v0 to build?

Start by collecting the posts, then design:

Ask your assistant“Use Finchreach to read my LinkedIn profile. Then search LinkedIn posts for my name and for “pricing” and “client onboarding”, the topics I write about. Keep only posts where I am the author. List them with the first line, date if available and a link, and wait for me to choose.”

Once you have picked the posts:

Ask your assistant“Build a Writing page with the six posts I picked. Header with my name and headline from LinkedIn. Each post as a card with a title you derive from the first line, a two-line excerpt and a “Read on LinkedIn” link. Group them by topic. Clean serif typography, generous spacing, dark mode. Use my exact wording in the excerpts; don’t rewrite or add claims.”

Refine it in the same chat:

Ask your assistant“Make the longest post a featured card at the top, and add a short intro paragraph above the list that I can edit later. Leave it as a placeholder, don’t write it for me.”

When the page is live:

Ask your assistant“Draft a two-sentence LinkedIn post saying I collected my posts on pricing and onboarding in one place, with the URL I give you. No hype. Create it with Finchreach so it goes to my approval queue.”

How do I add Finchreach to v0?

Full details are in the v0 guide. In the v0 app:

  1. Create a Finchreach account and connect your LinkedIn account on the Accounts page.
  2. Create an API key on the API keys page (it starts with lk_).
  3. In v0, open the + menu in the prompt form → MCPs → add a custom MCP server.
  4. Enter the URL https://mcp.finchreach.com/mcp, choose Bearer Token as the authentication, and paste your key.
  5. Start a chat and ask v0 to list your Finchreach LinkedIn accounts to check the connection.

With the v0 Platform API, create the server once and pass its id when you create chats:

POST /v1/mcp-servers
{
  "name": "finchreach",
  "url": "https://mcp.finchreach.com/mcp",
  "auth": { "type": "bearer", "token": "<FINCHREACH_API_KEY>" }
}

Then include the returned id in mcpServerIds when creating a chat. v0 requires HTTPS for MCP servers and its docs don’t state plan requirements, as of October 2026; see v0’s MCP docs and the API reference. The Finchreach side is covered in our quickstart.

What should I check before publishing posts from LinkedIn on my site?

  • Authorship: every post on the page should be yours. Remove anything search pulled in from other people.
  • Wording: make sure v0 kept your text and didn’t smooth it into something you didn’t say.
  • Other people: if a post names colleagues or clients, check they are comfortable appearing on the open web, not just on LinkedIn.
  • Freshness: old posts can carry old opinions or prices. Drop or annotate the ones you no longer stand behind.
  • Links: each card should point to the original post or your profile so readers can join the conversation there.

Can v0 post or change anything on LinkedIn without asking?

v0 can’t edit your profile: Finchreach has no profile-editing tool. Reading your profile and searching posts are reads. Writes such as posts, comments, reactions, DMs and invitations become pending actions when approval mode is on, which is the default. You approve or reject each one on the approvals page, and v0 can check the status with linkedin_get_action.

Automating a personal LinkedIn account carries risk under LinkedIn’s User Agreement. The approval queue lowers that risk because you review and pace every action, but it doesn’t remove it. This use case is mostly reads, but the same applies to the announcement post.

v0 and LinkedIn: common questions

Can v0 import my LinkedIn experience and education for a résumé page? Not today. Finchreach’s profile tool returns your name, headline, profile link and follower count, not your full work history. Paste that part in yourself.

Will the page stay in sync with LinkedIn? No. v0 uses MCP tools at generation time, so the posts are written into the page. Ask v0 to refresh the section when you have new posts worth adding.

Does v0 get my LinkedIn password? No. LinkedIn is connected in the Finchreach dashboard. v0 only stores the API key, which you can revoke on the API keys page.

Does it work in other tools? Yes, any MCP client that can send a header works, for example Claude Code. New to MCP? Read what a LinkedIn MCP server is.
